The property market in the United Arab Emirates is undergoing a shift. Following a period of significant growth, demand has cooled, and investors are now taking a much more selective approach to choosing properties.

“The people who were buying purely because of the demand boom, along with speculative investors chasing quick returns, have largely disappeared from the market. What remains are experienced investors who are not giving in to panic,” INANI Real Estate founder Monika Kaličinská told Forbes.

In her view, the current situation is creating new opportunities. Developers are offering more attractive payment plans, while choosing the right location, project, and developer has become more important than ever.
